After the indulgences of the holiday season and the start of a new year, it's common to feel a little down or in a funk. Especially when it seems like everyone else is on a bandwagon and overcrowding the gyms.
But don't let that hold you back from reaching your fitness goals. Most people find themselves in a fitness rut every now and then. Sometimes they seem to last forever! This is completely normal. But, it's important to get your motivation back to continue making progress. At this point, yeah, I know! -- but, how do you do this? Did anyone say muscle tone? Oh yes, we all ate that extra slice of pie this Holiday Season. So what?! We were indulging with family and friends and that was a week ago. But now we are watching Netflix over our non-existent six-packs, not the kind you buy at the store, but the ones you promised yourself you’d find this year. I too, am mulling over how I had this great new year’s resolution to eat better and be more consistent with my workouts. Where did this last year go and why didn’t that happen?Spring is in the air and the weather is warming.Time to pack away the baggy sweaters and start showing some skin again. This is the perfect time to get your fitness motivation back or to take things up a notch in your current routine! Longer days and warmer weather makes us feel more awake and like we have more time in the day. Besides, you know what’s right around the corner…
